Azadwadi organized a meet-up for Ecopreneurs residing in and around Gurgaon. The aim of this event was to provide a space for such brands, where all business owners could learn more about each other, discuss the eco-friendliness of their businesses, and share what motivated them to choose their particular product lines. Everyone shared their journey of being eco-conscious, and the event offered a platform for discussing the challenges faced while promoting eco-friendly products.
The startups that joined us for the event included Ekang, Vayan, Eqologiq, Aradhaga (a project under Enactus), and The Indian Crafter. Along with these conscious brand owners, we were honored to have Atul Srivastava (co-founder of Azadwadi) with us. Atul provided valuable insights on targeting their audience, contributing significantly to the conversation with his business consultancy skills.
Another objective of bringing these startups to Azadwadi was to offer them a space to display their products. Azadwadi hosts multiple events, attracting visitors more frequently. In today's era where people are becoming conscious of their environmental impact, they may not be aware of how to change their consumption patterns or where to source eco-friendly products. Conversely, there are those who recognize the need for a greener alternative but lack a connection between such Ecopreneurs and a conscious customer base.
Azadwadi aimed to bridge that gap and proposed dedicating a corner in their space to display the products of these startups. In line with popular hashtags such as vocal for local, handmade, and support small business, the goal was to promote only those brands that are not involved in greenwashing.
